Getting Started
This testnet will be hosted on the Nautilus test network, which you will need to add to your wallet to get started. This can be done by connecting your Metamask wallet to https://safe.kimberlite.rocks and switching the network to Nautilus or adding as a custom network with the details below:
Network name: Nautilus Testnet
RPC URL: https://triton.api.nautchain.xyz
Chain ID: 91002
Currency symbol: tZBC
Block explorer URL(Optional): https://triton.nautscan.com
Native Chain Faucets
Certain portions of the testnet involve on-chain interactions and will require testnet versions of ZBC. You can get 1 ZBC(testnet) from the Triton Faucet (nautchain.xyz)
Claiming TestNet Tokens
In addition to the network tokens, we have created a testnet token which can be used to interact with our platform. To claim these tokens you will need to request them from our faucet page. See the steps below on how to do so:
- Connect to the dApp at https://safe.kimberlite.rocks/faucet
2. Click Tweet to Claim Tokens
3. You’ll be redirected to twitter to post the following tweet
4. Once tweeted, copy the link and return to the dApp. You’ll be prompted to paste the URL of the tweet in the provided field. Then click Claim.
5. You’ll see a wallet pop-up to initiate the transaction. After the transaction is complete you can check your wallet on a block explorer to see the tokens that were sent.
6. Proceed to https://safe.kimberlite.rocks to “Create New Lock” (create multiple locks with different unlock times/dates), it is recommended to use shorter unlock times for testing purposes.
7. Test the EditLock and TransferLock feature.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Kimberlite Safe guarantee self-custody?
We extend the benefits of self custody by combining the use of smart contracts with confidential computing. Through use of existing blockchain public-key encryption infrastructure and nodes deployed into secure enclaves, users can safely deposit and withdraw assets with the ‘safe’. These actions are strictly initiated by the user or a system(s) they have given permission to act on their behalf.
